TOP 10 BUSINESS ESSENTIALS

What are the top 10 business essentials?

Business is like running a ship you cannot have a ship without a captain. Which brings us to one of the top 10 business essentials… Captain, or in this case, a LEADER– owner.

1. LEADER

Next, a captain will need something for the ship that will allow the captain to ship sail with ease, and be able to outdo any competitor of transporting goods. This brings us to the second one of the top 10 business essentials… Competitive Edge.

2. COMPETITIVE EDGE

The next thing a captain and their ship will need is, a full understanding of the laws that govern the deep blue sea they are about to embark on. Bringing us to our next business essential… Business Law.

3. BUSINESS LAWS

Now, that, you as the captain, your ship has the competitive edge, and understanding the laws of the great seas, you will need some sort of insurance. Something that will keep pirates from invading, or leaks from sinking your ship while out to sea. This is what we call “Insurance” in business, which is the next business essential on our list.

4. INSURANCE

Afterwards, before a ship can set sail a captain will need a crew to hoist the mass, and run the ship while the captain steers the ship. This is what we refer to as employees, which is the next on our list for business essentials.

5. EMPLOYEES

Then, comes the method of how the ship is to operate so everyone has a job and knows exactly what to do in any given situation. Because out to see you only have once chance to do it right. Being a master of the sea is no easy feat. So with that said this brings us to our next business essential…Systems.

6. SYSTEMS & OPERATIONS

Next, comes the supplies to have on-board. Because no point to go out to sea if you do not have all the supplies to feed your crew, or they may turn on you or worse die. Bringing us to our next business essential…Supplies.

7. SUPPLIES

Now, we have our crew, systems, and supplies aboard ship there is no point for a captain to ship sail without knowing where they are going. You need business (no pun intended). So you have to have customers and clients. In this case a captain has to already have been marketing or go out and market his ship before setting sail. This brings us to our next business essential…Marketing.

8. MARKETING

Then, comes the managing of the customers and clients. It is a must if the captain wishes to continue to have more business. Bringing us to the business essential…CRM.

9. CRM

Last, a captain will need to have to handle the paying of services rendered by his sailors, and cost of services and goods sold. With that said, this brings us to our final business essential.

10. ACCOUNTING

So, there you have it. The top 10 business essentials for your business. In other sense if you can run a ship you can run a business.
